Repeat prescriptions

Patients on regular medication may be given a "re-order sheet". You should send or place your sheet through the letterbox at the front door of the practice at least 2 working days before your prescription is required. Your pharmacist may require additional time to order and/or prepare your medication.

Alternatively, you may order your medication online using the procedure below. Please allow the same time for your request to be processed as you would for paper requests.

In addition you may call our dedicated prescription ordering line and leave a message detailing what you require. The telephone number is 01556 613022 and again, please allow the same time for your request to be processed as you would for paper requests.

The prescriptions are automatically sent to The Well Pharmacy (formerly The Co-operative Pharmacy) on Dalbeattie High Street. If you wish to take your prescription elsewhere, please let the receptionist know.

Please DO NOT call the main line for repeat prescriptions.

Test results

If your doctor has asked you to call for a result, please only do so AFTER 2pm; results cannot be given before then. In order to preserve confidentiality, results will only be given to patients themselves.
